CLOOS Robotic Welding Inc. is renewing an entrustment agreement with Pennsylvania College of Technology for robotic welding equipment used for instructional purposes.

CLOOS Robotic Welding Inc. is recognized as a member of the Visionary Society on the college’s Donor Wall ($100,000 to $499,999) and at the Copper Level on the Welding Recognition Wall ($100,000 to $249,999). The company played a vital role in the college’s welding expansion project.

“We thank CLOOS for this continued partnership,” said Elizabeth A. Biddle, director of corporate relations. “Our students continue to learn the technology and principles of robotic welding using the CLOOS robotic cell, which has proven to be a mutually beneficial engagement. Students strengthen skills in robotic welding and gain comfort with CLOOS technology, which may lead to sales opportunities for CLOOS as our graduates enter the workforce.”

“CLOOS is pleased to continue this relationship with Penn College,” said Hartmut Boegel, president. “We believe in using our technology to invest in the workforce of the future, and Penn College welding is producing the people who will be the future of welding.”

CLOOS Robotic Welding Inc. – based in Schaumburg, Illinois – is a subsidiary of Carl Cloos Schweisstechnik GmbH, in Haiger, Germany. Founded in 1919, Carl Cloos Schweisstechnik GmbH is a leading welding technology company.
