Clinical Director Appointed to National Accreditation Council

Patricia J. Martin, clinical director of the Occupational Therapy Assistant program in the School of Health Sciences at Pennsylvania College of Technology, has been appointed to the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education.

ACOTE is a 16-member national body that accredits professional and technical levels of occupational therapy education in the United States.

Martin began serving her three-year term by auditing a board meeting in August and attended her first meeting in an official capacity in December.

Prior to her appointment, she served for six years on the Roster of Accreditation Evaluators. ACOTE members are selected from the national pool of roster members.
