Thursday’s WinterFest in the Field House served up an evening of entertainment in exchange for the donation of clothing and blankets to benefit the Saving Grace Shelter. The first act was comprised of the Students of Musical Development Band and some of the finalists from the recent “Penn College Star” talent show. Julia I. Gilchrist opened with a song on the ukulele; other student performers included Chad M. Austin on acoustic guitar and a band called Frozen Banana. Students enjoyed pizza and another two hours of music by local bands Audiobox and Lumpy Gravy. Students of Musical Development organized the event, joined by the Off-Campus Housing Organization and K&S Music.
