Change in Guidelines Helps Students With Child-Care Costs


As of July 1, (or maybe earlier), the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare will make some important changes in the guidelines for subsidized child day care. These changes will make it much easier for college students to qualify for assistance with their child-care costs. Karen Woland Payne, director of the Children’s Learning Center, sorts through the complicated details in this informative memo for affected students:
