‘Center of Excellence’ Unveiled; Plastics Wing Rededicated

In a dual celebration two years in the making, a ribbon-cutting for Penn College’s new plastics wing and the christening of the Thermoforming Center of Excellence  were held April 6-7 in the Breuder Advanced Technology and Health Sciences Center. The public portion of the event included guided tours of the Thermoforming Center and the various laboratories that support the college’s plastics curriculum, a presentation and documentary screening, and a “meet and greet” with plastics and polymer technology faculty and Plastics Manufacturing Center staff.
