Historic timeline among additions to Centennial websitePenn College's Centennial website, launched four years ago in conjunction with a photo retrospective in the college gallery, has been thoroughly redesigned as the 2014 celebration draws nearer. Visitors to the commemorative site (developed by Philip C. Warner, an alumnus and web designer in College Information and Community Relations) can now access an informative timeline of significant moments in the history of Williamsport Technical Institute, Williamsport Area Community College and Penn College, as well as preview the exciting schedule of events to mark 100 years of adult education. Those new features join a growing collection of memories by alumni and employees, and the anniversary site includes a "Tell Your Story" link by which others can add their voices. Also of note are transcripts, videos and oral histories from past presidents of the three institutions, and the opportunity to purchase richly illustrated books in the Countdown to the Centennial Series: "Were You There? The Evolution of a College Campus" and "Legacy of Leaders." The third of four volumes, "Marketing With a Mission," will be added this fall.
