Celebrate American Archives Month With Virtual Look at College History

“The mystic chords of memory, stretch . . . from every . . . living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land.” Abraham Lincoln’s First Inaugural Address, March 4, 1861American Archives MonthOctober is American Archives Month, an observance created to celebrate the importance of archival collections and the history they house. This year’s theme is “Celebrating the American Record.” Join in the celebration by taking a virtual peek inside the Penn College Archive. You can thumb thorough digital versions of Montage, (the yearbook of Williamsport Area Community College), browse photographsof the Williamsport Technical Institute or listen to oral-history interviews of key figures in college history.
