Brown Library on Thursday, participating in a program with children’s author Lindsay Barrett George.  She read “That Pup,” her book about a dog, a squirrel and acorns. The children enjoyed visiting a variety of activity stations that featured therapy dogs, math and art. The morning culminated in a scavenger hunt for acorns. This event was part of a statewide “Speak Up” initiative promoting libraries; funding for transportation to the library was provided by Keystone STARS.
