Business Professor Receives Award at International Conference

Dr. Gerald “Chip” Baumgardner, associate professor of business administration in the School of Business and Computer Technologies at Pennsylvania College of Technology, received an exclusive Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Technology at the 13th International Conference on College Teaching and Learning.

At the conference, which was held April 9-13 in Jacksonville, Fla., Baumgardner also was honored for his research paper, “Debunking the Myths of Online Education,” which was designated an “Award-Winning Conference Paper.”

The paper will appear in the “Selected Papers from the 13th International Conference on College Teaching and Learning” conference proceedings.
