The fountain outside the Breuder Advanced Technology & Health Sciences Center adopts an appropriate tint for the coming weekend, thanks to Wiest (left) and Telesky. Wiest is a landscape/plant production technology student from Butler; Telesky, of Milton, is pursuing a degree in a human services & restorative justice.With the new workweek barely dawning, the leaders of Penn College’s Student Government Association and Wildcat Events Board met at the Veterans' Fountain in a traditional run-up to Wildcat Weekend.

Aided by Matthew P. Barrett, an alumnus and first-shift General Services horticulturist, SGA President Sydney M. Telesky and WEB Chair Sophia G. Wiest poured dye into the fountain to lend a deep Wildcat Blue to a prominent campus centerpiece.

... and through the pump to produce the desired effect.With gloved and steady hands, Telesky (left) and Wiest introduce dye down the funnel ...Wildcat Weekend, a fresh take on Homecoming and Parent & Family Weekend, provides three action-packed days for students, friends and families; alumni and guests' faculty and staff; and all Wildcat supporters.

Added to the signature events this year are the inauguration and reception for President Michael J. Reed.

Weekend participants can also display their Wildcat Pride at the bonfire and dessert showcase, the 11th annual alumni golf outing, Wildcat family activities, and the Alumni & Friends Tent Party, and tour open academic labs and explore the paranormal with John Zaffis: "Godfather of All Ghost Hunters." Also on the schedule are men's and women's soccer games, featuring a number of local food trucks; an open wrestling practice and downtown social; a men's basketball Blue & White game; and an Athletic Hall of Fame reception.
