Blaise J. Alexander, well-known for his family's automobile dealerships around the region, recently established the Blaise Alexander Family Scholarship Fund at Penn College.

Full-time students enrolled in any major at Penn College may apply for awards from the Blaise Alexander Family Scholarship Fund if they are residents of Bradford, Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Sullivan or Union counties.

"It's always been important to me to give back to the community in which I live and work," Alexander said. "I have a great appreciation for the quality of education that Penn College provides, so I'm happy to provide some assistance to students from central Pennsylvania who decide to pursue their degree there."

"The Alexander family is well-known throughout the region, not only for their businesses, but also for their generosity. We feel fortunate to be able to partner with Blaise for the benefit of Penn College students."

Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships operates 10 automobile dealerships in central and northcentral Pennsylvania. The dealerships employ numerous Penn College alumni.
