The Army ROTC program brought a pair of 11-ton conversation pieces to Pennsylvania College of Technology on April 14, landing two UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters on The Madigan Library lawn. Pilots and crew chiefs were available to answer questions about the aircraft, which were flying cadets to Fort Indiantown Gap. The display, supplemented by military vehicles available for inspection elsewhere on campus, drew hundreds of curiosity seekers – students, faculty/staff and youngsters from the Children's Learning Center, among them – undeterred by mud from getting a close-up glimpse of the military machines.
