Basketball Teams, Fans Mark 'Red Out' for Heart Health

Krause, a member of the dance team The men's and women's basketball teams kicked off Healthy Heart Month with a "Red Out" in Bardo Gymnasium on Tuesday night. Both teams wore red shoelaces and other apparel to support the cause, and members of the dance team wore red ribbons in their hair. At halftime of the women's game, intramural assistant Jeremy R. Bottorf emceed a "Let's Make a Deal" game in which students won cash, rally towels and T-shirts. At halftime of the men's game, a "reddest" contest was held. Brianna M. Savini won, taking home a $50 Sheetz gift card. The game was sponsored by the Off Campus Housing Organization, College Health Services and the Athletics department.
