'Cat TalesMen's Basketball Playing at home for the first time this season and scoring 100 points for the first time this year were not enough to keep the Wildcat men from falling to Penn State Schuylkill. Joe Simon (Renovo) led the Penn College offense with 21 points, while Craig Flint (Port Allegany) added 19, Roberto Valentin (Lebanon) had 14 and Ryan Scott (Dallastown) 13. Flint hadfive 3-pointers.

Penn College snapped a five-game losing streak with its win over Penn State Wilkes-Barre. Valentin and Scott each scored 15 points while Flint and Jameel McAfee (Williamsport) added 11.

In a loss to Penn State Mont Alto, Simon had 20 points, McAfee 15, Flint 13 and Scott 10. Tuesday night at 7, the Wildcats travel across town to face NCAA Division III rival Lycoming College in a matchup that has resulted in some intense competition the last two seasons.

Women's Basketball Amanda Ault (Athens) scored poured in 25 points and snared 14 rebounds in a loss to Penn State Schuylkill.

The Lady Wildcats closed out the first portion of their season with a 40-point win over Penn State Mont Alto that snapped a three-game losing streak. Ault led the scoring with 14 points while Meagan Morris (Herndon, Va.) had 13, Emily Beiter (Berwick) 11 and Stephanie Pietroski (Ringoes, N.J.) and Beth Snoddy (Allenwood) 10 each.
