Basket Raffle Again Adds to 'Walk-It-Out' Cancer Fundraiser

    A hot-air balloon ride is among the prizes in a Student Affairs-assembled basket.Drawing to be held during Walk-It-Out fundraiser on April 27Madigan Library basket includes a chocolate bar containing "Mystery Cash."Goodies run the gamut from a teddy bear and jigsaw puzzles to "socks for the entire family."The Walk-It-Out Basket Raffle, featuring 23 themed prize packages donated by the generous Penn College community, is under way in the Bush Campus Center lobby. Tickets, $1 each or three for $2,  can be purchased at the nearby Student Activities Office through April 26. The beautiful baskets, representing 30-percent higher participation than last year's Wildcat Events Board raffle, cater to a variety of tastes and interests ... from chocolate to a Dooney & Bourke purse, from relaxing on the porch to fine dining. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society through the K's for Cancer Foundation; winners need not be present at the drawing, which will be held April 27 during the sixth annual Walk-It-Out event.
