'Cat TalesBaseball Penn College opened its season Saturday by splitting with Westmoreland County Community College. In winning the opener, James Craft (York), Chris McGinley (Coatesville) and Cody Lytle (Watsontown) each went 3-for-4 at the plate. Craft drove in three runs, McGinley two and Lytle one. Jordan Staib (Montoursville) got the win on the mound. In the second-game loss, James Woodring (Waynesboro) went 3-for-3 at the plate and Doug Leitch (Spring Mills) 1-for-3 with a double.
