Aviation Students Hear Industry Presentations

    Sam Mazzotta offers presentation Dave McCollum meets with aviation students On Thursday, nearly all Penn College aviation students freshman through senior gathered at the Lumley Aviation Center to attend presentations from Skybolt Aerospace Fasteners and Solutia Inc. Sam Mazzotta of Skybolt (in left photo) described quick-release fasteners used in the aviation industry, as well as a history of fasteners and latest developments in fastener technology. David McCollum of Solutia (in right photo) talked about different types of hydraulic fluids, dealing largely with safety considerations while working with synthetic hydraulic fluids.
