Aviation student wins balloon ride at recent festivalAviation maintenance technology students Justine R. Wareham, of Hollidaysburg, and Joshua E. Swanger, of Northumberland, won a contest to receive balloon rides during last weekend’s Montoursville Rotary Fall Foliage Hot Air Balloon Festival. The students departed from Williamsport Regional Airport via balloon for a scenic Thursday float about the valley. Wareham, pictured, reported that the pilot and his crew had an extensive discussion about whether to land among the cows, or beforehand. (They chose not to land among the cows.)
