Reunion participants were led on tours of the facility; heard a briefing by retired Air Force Col. Timothy D. Bair, a member of the Columbia Accident Investigation Board; and attended an open forum on the history of the aviation center, hosted by Thomas D. Inman, associate professor of avionics. Alumni from Penn College, Williamsport Area Community College and Williamsport Technical Institute representing classes from 1945 to 2001 were on hand, including Dennis and Duane Hauser. Dennis, a 1970 graduate of W.A.C.C.'s aviation maintenance certificate program, is the senior aircraft maintenance technician at Hershey Foods Corp. in Middletown. His father, a retired pastor living in Avis, attended the W.T.I. aviation high school program in 1941. ( Photos by Becky J. Shaner, alumni relations assistant)
