A profile in qualityPrinting and Document Services is featured in the Oct. 6 edition of Insidedge, the newsletter of the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association. Headlined " Penn College In-Plant Serves as Training Ground ," the article outlines the department's daily attention to excellence and its unique interaction with graphic communications students and faculty. "My first expectation from my employees is quality work in a timely manner," says Raymond J. Fischer Jr., manager of document services. "If a worker concentrates on quality, production speed will take care of itself." The Missouri-based IPMA co-sponsored a competition earlier this year in which the college won a silver award for an offset/digital publication related to an exhibit in The Gallery at Penn College.
