Assistant Dean Appointed at Penn College

Bradley M. Webb has been named an assistant dean at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Formerly the director of student affairs administration, Webb recently assumed duties as an assistant dean for the School of Industrial, Computing & Engineering Technologies.
“Brad is an outstanding addition to the school’s leadership team with his work ethic, creativity, energy and proven organizational skills,” said Paul L. Starkey, vice president for academic affairs/provost. “He has always demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the college and our students.”
Webb had served as director of student affairs administration since 2011. In that role, he facilitated leadership development programs for students and chaired the college’s behavioral intervention team. Webb began his employment at the college in 2009 as coordinator of matriculation and retention in the former School of Business & Computer Technologies.
“We are excited to add someone of Brad’s caliber to the leadership within our school,” said David R. Cotner, dean of industrial, computing and engineering technologies. “Our faculty will appreciate his positive approach to matters, and students will respond to his sincere interest in helping them achieve success in and out of the classroom.”
A recent graduate of Leadership Lycoming, Webb serves as an adjunct instructor at the college and is a facilitator for the institution’s SAFE Zone program. He also is a volunteer adviser to the Sigma Pi fraternity.
Prior to coming to Penn College, Webb was coordinator of residence life and judicial affairs at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. He also served as resident director at Marymount and fulfilled graduate assistant and intern roles at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and Saint Francis University, Loretto.
Webb is completing his doctorate in higher education administration at Penn State. He holds a master’s degree in student affairs in higher education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in history, secondary teaching certification, from Lycoming College.
