As Display Continues, ‘RecycleMania’ Set to Return

A reminder to all faculty, staff and students of the Penn College Energy Conservation Subcommittee’s recycling display on the main floor of the Madigan Library. On your way through to Bookmarks Cafe, please remember to pick up a green list of single-stream recyclables to post above the trash receptacle in your office, workspace or residence area. A second container, labeled “Single-Stream” would be wise and helpful. The subcommittee also reminds all that, in just one week (Feb. 6), “RecycleMania on Campus” will begin and continue until April 2. This is a recycling-awareness program begun a decade ago to increase studentconsciousness and involvement in campus recycling through collaboration and partnership with participating schools. All participants are recognized for their efforts. Sponsors include Alcoa, American Forest and Paper Association, Coca-Cola and Waste Management Inc.
