Area Crash Fatal to Automotive Student

    A memorial service will be Saturday for Mark E. Meister II, 18, of Sunbury, a Penn College student in the automotive technology/Ford ASSET major who died from injuries suffered in a vehicle crash Sunday night in Upper Augusta Township, Northumberland County. A brick will be placed in his honor in the Remembrance Garden, and Penn College flags were lowered to half-staff. Any student wishing to speak with a counselor may contact the Counseling Office by e-mailor at (570) 327-4765. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's memory may be made to the Bethany Youth Group for the Lighthouse Cafe, 1000 Fort Augusta Ave., Sunbury, PA 17801. Arrangements were by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
