Area bank adds its support for Arts Center programs

The Community Arts Center has been awarded $3,000 from First Citizens Community Bank through the Pennsylvania Education Improvement Tax Credit in support of approved programs at the CAC.

First Citizens Community BankFor years, the Community Arts Center has been able to offer student-centered shows within its Family Series, Educational Series and Student Summer Stock programs, thanks in large part to vital support from the business community. Funding for educational programming is derived from EITC funds, donations, corporate sponsorships and grants.

 


The Educational Improvement Tax Credit program offers tax credits to approved organizations investing in projects that improve access to high-quality education programs. Organizations must be prequalified by the state Department of Community & Economic Development to participate.
