Archery Success Acknowledged on Association Site

    Zachary Plannick, left, with his gold-medal teammatesThe success of archer Zachary Plannick, a rising Penn College junior who was a member of America's gold medal-winning men's compound team in the recent World University Games in Serbia, is noted on the U.S. Collegiate Archery Web site. Plannick, of Coraopolis, and college teammate Glen Thomas, of Mercer, competed last month in the international event. Plannick and Thomas will be acknowledged by college President Davie Jane Gilmour prior to Sunday's fireworks at the conclusion of Welcome Weekend.
