Pennsylvania College of Technology students – from two- and four-year majors alike – are encouraged to apply by April 1 for financial assistance from Lockheed Martin's STEM and Vocational Scholarship programs.
Lockheed MartinThe STEM Scholarship Program was begun in 2018 as part of investment in the next generation of STEM talent.

Lockheed Martin is committed to providing access to pathways through education and into the STEM workforce for all students, particularly those from diverse backgrounds and communities historically underrepresented in STEM fields. Each year, the STEM Scholarship Program awards $10,000 to 200 recipients studying engineering or computer science at a four-year college or university. Recipients may renew the scholarship up to three times for a total potential value of $40,000 per student.

In January 2020, Lockheed Martin launched the Vocational Scholarship Program to support students of all ages participating in skills-based training in engineering, technology and advanced manufacturing fields at an accredited community or technical college. The Vocational Scholarship program is a critical component of Lockheed Martin’s investment in workforce development and education. In 2022, Lockheed Martin’s Vocational Scholarship Program will award up to $5,000 to as many as 150 recipients.

In 2021 alone, nine Penn College students were awarded vocational scholarships of $6,600 each.
