Annual Campus Reception Celebrates ‘Awesome Women’

Rook, inducted onto the 'AWE' list in 2011Thirty-seven Penn College employees and students were added to the roster of Awesome Women Exemplars during the seventh annual recognition reception in the Thompson Professional Development Center’s Mountain Laurel Room. They join nearly 200 other campus luminaries on the list, which is expanded each year in conjunction with Women’s History Month. Kimberly R. Cassel, director of student activities, and Sara R. Hillis, associate director, presided over the evening reception, which included a brief video, a group activity and shared comments from heartfelt nominations.
