Annual AWS Competition Held in Penn College Welding Lab

Judged by representatives from the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Welding Society, students from Penn College’s welding majors competed against one another, followed by a competition among students from Williamsport Area High School, Columbia Montour Area Vocational-Technical School and SUN Area Technical School. Niles Oehrli, of Moody International; and Adam Steppe, ’99 and ’11, of High Steel Industries, judged the students’ work. Winners will be announced during a banquet in April.
