An official attendance of 1,995 people enjoyed the fun, food and festivities, which began with the national anthem sung by student Becky Gordner and was capped by students' attempts to score a semester's free education via the challenging postgame Tuition Toss. None of the students won the grand prize, but the three contestants Alonso Marchinski, Nick Cafarchio and Mike Snyder, chosen at random from 160 registrants all received gift packages from The College Store.
