Accreditation Visit Scheduled for North Campus Nursing Program

    Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro will be visited on Feb. 3-5 by a review team from the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.

    The site visitors will conduct a review of the North Campus Outreach Practical Nursing Program, evaluating it for accreditation by the NLNAC.

    The voluntary process will compare the North Campus program to similar ones nationwide. NLNAC-accredited programs have been found to meet or exceed standards and criteria for educational quality.

    Public comments about the North Campus Outreach Practical Nursing Program are welcome and should be submitted directly to: Dr. Sharon Tanner, Executive Director, The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, 33 Broadway, 33rd Floor, New York, NY, 10006.

    An open meeting for the public is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at the North Campus.
