‘Spanish for Fun and Conversation’ to Be Offered at North Campus

For those who have little or no understanding of the Spanish language and would like to learn in a fun, relaxed setting, Pennsylvania College of Technology’s North Campus will offer “Spanish for Fun and Conversation” beginning Sept. 25.

The beginner-level, noncredit course will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays from Sept. 25 to Dec. 11.

The course will prepare participants to communicate using everyday conversation in a Spanish-speaking country and to quickly build a vocabulary of useful Spanish phrases in order to interact with Spanish speakers at work or when traveling. The classes will focus on grammar basics and vocabulary, and on listening and speaking at a basic level.

The instructor for the course is Jennifer Erway, who has a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish education and a master’s degree in Spanish.

The cost is $240 and includes a textbook and course materials. Convenient parking is located at the rear of the building. Register early; class size is limited.

The North Campus is located 3 miles east of Wellsboro on Route 6. For more information, or to register, call (570) 724-7703 before Sept. 18.
