‘Godfather of the Paranormal’ Coming to Penn College

John ZaffisJust in time for Halloween, one of the nation’s leading demonologists and star of Syfy’s “Haunted Collector” will present a free lecture at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

John Zaffis, known as “The Godfather of the Paranormal,” will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, in the Klump Academic Center Auditorium on West Third Street. His appearance, which is open to the public, is sponsored by Penn College’s Student Activities Office.

With more than 35 years’ experience studying and investigating the unknown including involvement with prominent exorcists Zaffis has been featured in the Discovery Channel’s “A Haunting in Connecticut” and “Little Lost Souls” and has appeared on “Unsolved Mysteries” and “FOX News Live,” among others.

The Syfy series, in which Zaffis and his team investigate possibly haunted items causing trouble for their owners, debuted in June; a second season is in production.
