'Design: 2012' Exhibit to Show Seniors' Graphic Design Work

A poster designed by Colby D. Walls, of New Columbia, a senior graphic design student whose work will be featured in the exhibitTwenty senior students in the graphic design major at Pennsylvania College of Technology will display the best of their collegiate portfolio, as judged by graphic design faculty, during the "Design: 2012" exhibit at The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of the Madigan Library.

A public reception for the exhibit which features student-designed posters, book covers, magazine spreads and logos is scheduled for April 27 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., during which students will be available to talk about their work. Remarks will be given by Gary R. DiPalma, assistant professor of graphic design.



Participating students are: Samantha J. Catlin, of Athens; Amanda M. Cropper, of Montoursville; Caroline Siena Dochter, of Lancaster; Cricket K. Eastabrook, of Herrickville; Sarah K. Forney, of Bloomsburg; Lauren C. Holub, of Elysburg; Brenda Y. Kalb, of Gettysburg; Linden A. Kashetta, of Lewisburg; Max A. Keeley, of Northumberland; Jessica L. Mattocks, of Middletown; Benjamin Richard Miller, of Elizabethtown; Brian S. Mummert, of Williamsport; Jessica L. Segraves, of Hughesville; Brandon L. Snyder, of Watsontown; Michael C. Snyder, of Shamokin; Wesley T. Sones, of Muncy; Andrea M. St. Clair, of Mill Hall; Colby D. Walls, of New Columbia; Amelia K. Wehr, of Williamsport; and Mark W. Wilson, of Picture Rocks.

The "Design: 2012" exhibit will be on display through May 11. All exhibits are free and open to the public. The gallery is open Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 2 to 7 p.m.; and Wednesday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed Saturday and Monday).
