    Hands-on encouragement Youthful determination Creativity on display Molding artwork into shape Early childhood student works with clay Artist-in-residence Miguel Tio conducted several workshops this week, including instructionfor children and staff of Penn College's Children's Learning Center and students in the early childhood education major. A small collection of his work is displayed in The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of Madigan Library, through Friday. Among those pieces is a portrait of colleague Brigid Marlin sitting on the steps of the Victorian House; both artists were on campus in Summer 2007 for the "Where Science Meets Art" exhibit.
