From finance to embracing change, Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology is offering a range of noncredit business and management courses this fall.

Practical hands-on activities are blended with instruction, providing relevant tools that can be applied in the workplace. All of the courses may be customized and delivered on-site for groups of employees.



New offerings this season include:

Finance for Non-Financial Managers: Wednesday, Oct. 15; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Critical Conversations With Employees: Thursday, Oct. 23; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Project Management Essentials: Wednesdays, Nov. 5, 12 and 19; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Role Modeling – Creating Winning Organizational Cultures: Thursday, Nov. 6; 1 to 5 p.m.

Team Building – Modeling Successful Medical Teams: Friday, Nov. 14; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Developing and Delivering Effective Presentations: Tuesday, Nov. 18; 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Maintaining & Building Trust – The Foundation of Successful Management and Leadership: Thursday, Nov. 20; 1 to 5 p.m.

The Ladder of Inference – Avoid Jumping to Conclusions: Wednesday, Nov. 26; 9 to 11:30 a.m.

Strategy Development – Providing the Right Organizational Focus: Wednesday and Friday, Dec. 3 and 5; 8 a.m. to noon

Discover Your DISC Style: Thursday, Dec. 4; 9 a.m. to noon

Change Management – Helping Others Embrace Your Change Initiatives: Wednesdays, Dec. 10 and 17; 8:30 a.m. to noon
