Student’s artwork on display through Dec. 16
Michele D. Lucas, who plans to graduate in May with degrees in graphic design and studio arts, is exhibiting her recent ceramics in the lobby of The Gallery at Penn College (Madigan Library, third floor) through Dec. 16. A public reception to meet the artist will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13. Lucas has taken three semesters of ceramics and has a strong interest in more sculptural and decorative forms in clay, noted David A. Stabley, instructor of ceramics/wood sculpture in the School of Integrated Studies. Exhibit hours are 2-7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, and 1-4 p.m. Sunday.
