Power Lifting Team Members Medal at 'Ironman' Competition

BlissMembers of the Power Lifting Club team competed in Saturday's Pennsylvania Open Ironman Championships held at the Fitness Factory in Williamsport. Aubin I. "A.J." Sevrin, a welding and fabrication engineering technology major from Lehighton, and Aaron B. Cusatis, an aviation maintenance technology student from Trappe, took third place in their weight classes for combined bench press and deadlift. "Everyone lifted great," coach Emmanuel A. Balaguer said. "Their lifts were clean and sharp; I was proud to be there." Results for Penn College participants were: Sevrin, 500 pounds deadlift and 300 pounds bench press; Cusatis, 480 and 300; volunteer coach (and alumnus) Casey W. Bliss, 425 and 325; and Ryan P. Campbell, a welding technology major from Media, 405 and 225.
