For those looking to sharpen their computer skills while learning something new, Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology is offering several easy-to-learn computer courses.



New course offerings this October include:

Office 2013 New Features
Tuesday, Oct. 21, 9 a.m. to noon

Take a tour of the updates and new features in Microsoft Office 2013. Learn suite-wide enhancements such as improved Cloud integration, as well as changes and new features in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Prezi: Creating Dynamic Presentations
Section 1: Wednesdays, Oct. 8 and 15, 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Section 2: Tuesday, Nov. 11, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Welcome to the world of Prezi, a cutting-edge tool used for creating dynamic presentations. Prezi is a free online alternative to PowerPoint. Learn to create eye-catching presentations that zoom and flow for a unique presentation experience.

Google Drive
Thursday, Oct. 16, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Google Drive is free online software that lets you create and access your files anywhere using a computer, smartphone or tablet. Topics include Google Documents, Google Spreadsheets, Google Presentations, Google Forms and Google Drawings.

Protecting Your Electronic Devices: Tuesdays, Oct. 21 and 28, 6 to 8 p.m.
QuickBooks: Level 2: Friday, Oct. 31, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Word: Level 2: Thursday, Oct. 2, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
