Wildcat archery coach Chad Karstetter this week honored "five irreplaceable seniors (who) represent Penn College as outstanding athletes, as well as outstanding students." Senior Day festivities were held in the Field House on Sunday, amid the two-day Eastern Regional Intercollegiate Archery Championship. Graduating archers are: Brock J. Smith, a computer aided product design major from Brookville, an All-American in 2008-09 and a member of the first-place men's compound championship team in 2008; Brad S. Ferguson, a welding technology student from Lewistown, a 2008 All-American who also competed on that championship compound squad; James R. Fanelli, of Glastonbury, Conn., a plastics and polymer engineering technology major, who was a member of last year's national championship recurve team; Jarrod M. Chandler, a computer aided drafting technology major from Gillett, a member of the compound team for three years; and Lindsey K. Fackler, Halifax, a nursing major who was an All-American and member of Penn College's national championship female compound team a year ago.
