Fenton Named PSUAC 'Player of the Week'

Scott Fenton Freshman Scott Fenton (Dickson City) was named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for theperiod ending Dec. 4. Fenton averaged 18.5 points per game in a 1-1 week including a season-high 22 points against Penn State Mont Alto helping the Wildcats to their first win of the season. He also totaled 14 rebounds, three steals and three assists. This is Fenton's first PSUAC honor of the year. He leads the Wildcats in scoring, averaging 10.8 points per game. He's also shooting .530 (35-66) from the field and has 11 steals in eight games so far this season. Penn College hosts Penn State Beaver in its final game of 2011at 3 p.m. Saturday.
