Thirteen contestants offering music, comedy – even a glow-stick light show – shared their gifts during a talent show in the Klump Academic Center Auditorium on Friday night. Organized by off-campus Community Assistants Katherine P. “Katie” Wylezik and Whitnie-rae Mays, and hosted by Kyle S. Mullin, the event featured five guest judges representing Athletics, Residence Life and several campus organizations. Vocalists claimed top honors: First place (a $100 Sheetz gift card) went to Malcolm D. Sesay, a general studies student from Williamsport, and second prize (a $50 Sheetz card) was won by Perla N. Ben, a human services major from Norristown. Students also handled the technical side of the production, under the supervision of Kevin M. Mix, audio/visual specialist.
